5-6 lb Brisket fat side up in a ceramic baking dish
Add 2 Cups of water to the dish.
mix together:
2 TBS Chili powder
3 TBS Kosher Salt
2 TBS Garlic powder
2 TBS Onion powder
2 TBS Pepper
1 TBS Mustard powder
1 tsp Tumeric powder
2 tsp Cayenne pepper (you can add more to taste)
mix all these well and sprinkle and rub into the meat really well.
Then add 1/4-1/2 Cup light or dark brown sugar coating the top of the brisket and cover with foil and place in the oven on 375*F for 6-8 hours. Remove half way and check to ensure liquid hasn't evaporated (if so just add 1/2-1 cup more of water)
